For your convenience, we’ve also included important dates where applicable. Please note that all tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.

Additional facts about tuition and fees

  • Tuition (domestic) is assessed at a rate of $484 per credit hour ($536 per credit hour for seminary).
  • Domestic students include Citizens of Canada and Canadian Permanent Residents.
  • Mandatory fees are assessed at a rate of $45 per credit hour.
  • Undergrad student association fees are charged at $45 per semester for full-time students and $22.50 per semester for part-time students.
  • Seminary student association fees are charged at $60 per semester for full-time students and $40 per semester for part-time students
  • Tuition and fees for courses less than three credits will be pro-rated accordingly.
  • All tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.
  • Specific credit balances on accounts can be returned. To submit a request, click here.  
  • Fees listed above do not include specific lab or course material fees.

Health And Dental Plan 

2023-2024 Plan Year (September 2023 to August 2024)

  • Undergrad Programs - $502/year (Non-Refundable Portion - $19.50 - Coverage for I'm Well, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Travel)
  • Graduate Programs - $512/year (Non-Refundable Portion - $19.50 - Coverage for I'm Well, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Travel)

Eligibility 

All Undergrad and Graduate students in a degree program registered in 9 or more credit hours

Important Dates

  • Fall Opt-In Start - September 1, 2023
  • Fall Opt-Out Deadline - September 30, 2023
  • Winter Opt-In Start - January 1, 2024
  • Winter Opt-Out Deadline - January 31, 2024

Notes

  • Fees are due upfront
  • Opt-In and Opt-outs are only available for the semester a student starts a school year in. 
  • Opt-In and Opt-outs must be processed via StudentVIP - https:/studentvip.ca/Ambrose
  • Students with an approved opt-out will receive a credit to their student account for the refundable portion of the health and dental plan after the opt-out period lapses.

  • Humanities (English, Christian Studies, History, General Studies) Program Fee - $30.00 per semester
  • Ambrose Arts Program Fee - $50.00 per semester
  • Ambrose Arts Production Fee - $250 per semester
  • School of Ministry Program Fee  - $50.00 per semester
  • Science Program Fee - $35.00 per semester

Seminary Program Fees

  • Seminary Program Fee - $30 per semester

Education Program

  • Memberships and Practicum Fee - $200.00 per year

Additional facts about residence and meal plan fees

  • All meal plan purchases are GST exempt.
  • Students who purchase Option A and B meal plans for both semesters may be eligible for a refund at the end of the year. Email residence@ambrose.edu for more information.
  • Option C meal plan is only available in the Winter Semester for students who have purchased Option A or B in the Fall semester.
  • Meal Plan exemptions may be granted for medical conditions that Food Services is unable to accommodate.  Please email residence@ambrose.edu for more information.
