Parent Orientation: September 4th, 2023 from 3-4pm
At this time all parents are welcome to come and hear from the president of the university, meet key staff members, learn important information, and have any lingering questions answered. Coffee will be provided.

 
Residence Move-In: September 4th, 2023

FAQ

How will I know what is going on with my student’s schooling? 
Information regarding your student’s education will always be communicated to your student through their Ambrose email address. This includes residence information, course information, faculty and staff communication, and anything else that might be pertinent to your student. We then ask that you encourage your student to check their Ambrose email regularly, so they keep up to date on all important information. 
Ambrose University is committed to safeguarding the personal information entrusted to us. We manage all personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Projection Act and other applicable laws. This means that we cannot give you as a parent any personal information we have about your student (for example, we cannot tell you their grades). Therefore, we encourage you to communicate with your students about the information they are receiving from the school, as well as how they are doing at school. 

Does my student have to be on the Health and Dental plan? 
No, any student who provides proof of another insurance plan and fills out the required form between September 1 and September 30, will be taken off the plan and receive a full reimbursement. However, if no other insurance plan is provided then the student must remain on the given plan. 

My student is moving into residence, what do I need to know? 
Residence move in for new students is on September 4th, and your student will be receiving an email in August with their move in time slot. Please note- before a room key will be given out all residence fees must be paid and the Residence Tenancy Agreement must be signed. An email with the specific breakdown of fees, as well as the Tenancy Agreement has been sent out to students.
