Vertical Human Horizontal World
Vertical Human Horizontal World is a collection of works completed between 2016 and 2018 by Richard Charter (b. 1993) which are largely based on music scores and notation script. Though this whole collection can be interpreted as music, many of these works diverge from the score as the central focus, into a crucial revelation - the mere power of intersecting lines.
The Artist
Richard Charter received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Ambrose University in 2015. He will be pursuing a Master's Degree in Music Composition in Fall 2018 at the University of Victoria.
