Ambrose University has one annual Convocation Ceremony, but degrees are conferred on three dates throughout the year:

Degree Parchments are provided at Convocation Ceremonies, or can be picked up on campus the following day. After two weeks, parchments will be delivered by regular mail, to the address on file.
Students who are unable to attend the ceremony held immediately following completion of their degree requirements may provide a written request to the Registrar's Office requesting the ability to attend the following Convocation Ceremony. The student's parchment will be issued for the original Convocation and the names will appear in the program at the original Convocation.

For Those Not Attending The Ceremony:
Your official degree parchment will be available for pick-up from Ambrose (exact location TBA) between May 12-15. If you do not collect it within that window, it will be mailed to the last known address on your student record. To update your address information, please fill out the Change of Student Information form on the Student Portal.

Ceremony Tickets
Tickets are NOT required for the convocation ceremony. You are not required to book seats in advance. Seats will be first come, first served. The venue has designated seating available for people with accessibility needs.
Ceremony Parking
Parking will be free at the venue. Graduands are encouraged to park in the north lot.
Ceremony Livestream
The ceremony will be livestreamed for those unable to attend. Watch the livestream here.
Academic Attire & Dress Code
Academic attire includes a gown, mortarboard (cap) and tassel, and academic hood. These items have been ordered for everyone who confirmed they will be attending the ceremony in person, and the gown, mortarboard and tassel are yours to keep.
Academic Hoods will also be provided. These must be returned to the check-in room at the venue no later than 1 hour following the end of the ceremony, OR to the Ambrose campus (exact location TBA) by 5:00 PM the same day. Unreturned hoods will be charged to your student account and will need to paid for before any official documents (such as transcripts) can be released. There will be option to purchase your hood. Details TBA.
Dress Code for the Ceremonies:
- Long, dark pants or appropriate dress/skirt and tasteful shoes. Flip-flops, sandals, and runners are not considered appropriate footwear.
- For seminary-level graduands: While we do not require long sleeves, please keep in mind that graduate-level gowns do not have full-length sleeves.
- For those receiving degrees: you will need to kneel so that the Academic Hood can be placed over your head. Please keep this in mind in choosing your wardrobe and footwear.
You cannot bring anything with you on stage. Please leave valuables and bags with friends and family.
Finance Reminder
