The Exam Proctor must provide responsible oversight to students approved for exam accommodations and will fulfill the following duties:
- attend proctor training in early September
- maintain confidentiality and security of the exam process and spaces
- set up and clean up exam rooms
- administer test materials
- provide basic support for, and troubleshooting of, assistive technology
- facilitate student needs during exams
Duties and responsibilities performed within one’s capabilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing.
Reports to: Student Academic Success, Accessibility and Student Support Coordinator
To be eligible for this position, a candidate will:
- follow directions, problem solve, work independently, and stay organized
- be comfortable supervising students (potentially peers)
- work effectively with a diverse population within a potentially stressful environment
- always be prepared to put the students’ needs firs
- have excellent attendance and punctuality>
- have completed at least 60 credits of post-secondary study. Applicants who have completed 90 credits of post-secondary study or are in Seminary or Education will receive preference. Community applicants are exempt from credit requirements.
