Biography

Ric came to Ambrose after serving as a pastor with the Alliance in Canada for 30 years. Ric cares deeply about the formation of pastors and Christian leaders for the church, particularly as it relates to the unfolding redemptive action of God in the world. If Ric is not reading at home or teaching in the classroom, he is enjoying the many conversations that interface between Ambrose and the ministry leaders and practitioners in the field.

Ric’s disciplines are in the field of preaching and pastoral theology.

Current Research

The nature of biblical preaching as an act of participation with the Living Word.

The contributing factors in the flourishing of young leaders in the Church.
