Join bassist Stefano Valdo (Ambrose University), for the annual Bass Boot Camp!

With the help of a select team of professional bass players, the students will have the opportunity to learn more about the artistry of the bass and what it takes to become a world class player.

Instructors:

Topics to be covered during the camp include:

• Introduction to the bass

Instrument care.  Warm up exercises.

• Practice routines on electric and acoustic bass.
• Sight reading techniques

Melodic and rhythmic sight reading.

• Fret board Harmony and Technique.
• Contemporary Styles and Jazz Theory.
• Improvisation.
