Educational Travel allows you to experience world culture and history while earning credit toward your degree. You may travel with fellow students and your professor to study in exciting international settings. Through our onSite missions program you can serve alongside missionaries on an overseas field.

BIO 379: Marine Biology
Students will travel with their Faculty to Bamfield Marine Station on the west coast of Vancouver Island. There will be hands-on work learning the ecology and biology of the pacific northwest marine life. The days will include going out on the boats, dredging for marine life, examining the tide pool life on the shore, studying the intertidal zones, and doing bio-luminescence studies. Students will also participate in eco-walks of the temperate rainforest on Vancouver Island.

BUS 451: Global Business Practices
This module will provide students with the opportunity to engage in educational travel to the EU to see first-hand how the forces of integration and change are impacting businesses, communities and citizens across Europe. Itinerary will include: visits to Canadian businesses in London, UK; the European Union and NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium; cruise down the Rhine river and tour of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, Germany; visits to various businesses, manufacturing plants, churches and community development projects in the Czech Republic and Poland.

REL 400: Summer School in the Holy Land (Israel, Syria and Jordan)
An extraordinary, multi-dimensional educational travel experience designed to explore the most important biblical landscapes in three countries of the Middle East . It will introduce you to ancient Christian traditions and some of the main themes of the Arab-Israeli-Palestinian conflict. If you have unfulfilled 'see the Holy Land' desires, this would be an excellent opportunity to fulfill them in a more extensive manner than the 'Holy Land tourism' familiar to many.
