In-ministry Mentoring Program
Students registered in one of our English-language Programs of Study are automatically enrolled in Ambrose Seminary—Toronto's In-ministry Mentoring Program. The idea is to connect Ambrose Seminary—Toronto students with mentors who will focus their education and training around three focal points:
- personal and spiritual formation
- practical ministry experience
- in-depth biblical and theological study
The In-Ministry Mentoring Program:
- fosters stronger links between the seminary and the churches that it seeks to serve on behalf of the students
- promotes ministry skill and leadership development by means of the curriculum
- cultivates stronger bonds between course theory and practical ministry as professor and students reflect upon how the course content can have practical applications in ministry
- promotes spiritual formation in the curriculum as students are involved in ministry while taking courses
- encourages an environment prior to internship where students can discern and test God's calling
The student's Ambrose Seminary—Toronto advisor will listen to where the student wants to go in terms of calling and ministry, assemble a mentoring team and then together create an individualized roadmap to help the student achieve the desired results.
