Personal Counseling

Confidential, personal, pastoral, and vocational counseling is available to all students through the Student Development Department.

How to Sign up 

To sign up for counseling fill out the intake form and return to the Student Development Administrative Assistant by email kyule@ambrose.edu  or by dropping it off in the Student Development office.

Our Counselors

Dr. Jackie Stinton (female) - available Thursday mornings for 4 sessions (starting at 9:00,10:00,11:00,12:00)

Dustin Hrycum (male) - available Mondays for 8 sessions (starting at 1:00,2:00,3:00,4:00,5:00,6:00,7:00,8:00)

Counseling Policies and Details

Ambrose substantially subsides counseling services; however, there is still a nominal fee of  $29 per appointment that will be charged to your student account (at end of each month) for each scheduled appointment.  If you do have extended health insurance coverage and you are seeing Dr. Jackie Stinton, you will be expected to utilize the insurance for payment through Dr. Jackie Stinton

There is a $75 fee, that will be charged to our student account if you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, unless you notify the Student Development Administrative Assistant 24 hours prior to the appointment.
