Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order my transcript?

We require a completed Transcript Request Form in order to release your transcript. Once you have completed the form, you can mail or fax it to us. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests by email or phone.

I cannot remember my Student ID.  What do I do?

The Student ID is the best and quickest way for us to identify and find your student record.  It is okay if you cannot remember your Student ID as long as the rest of the form is completed.

How much does an official transcript cost?

One copy of your transcript costs 8 dollars.  This includes regular mail and/or fax.

How long does it take from the time I request the transcript until the time it is mailed?

Our regular processing time is ten to fifteen business days.  This is provided your account is clear with Ambrose University College and payment is received in full for the transcript.

Is there anyway I can expedite the process?

As we process requests in the order in which they are received, it is not possible to speed up processing time.  If you wish, you may have the transcript sent by rush delivery or courier service. Additional charges will apply.  Please indicate on the request form how you would like it to be delivered.

What is the difference between official transcripts and unofficial transcripts?

Official transcripts are printed on security paper, signed by the Registrar and bear the seal of Ambrose University College.  Please note, faxed copies of your official transcript may not be considered official by the receiving party.  You must use the Transcript Request form to order an official transcript.

Unofficial transcripts are not printed on security paper, are not signed or sealed and are prepared at no cost.  If you would like to request an unofficial transcript please complete the Information Release Form.

I didn't attend Ambrose, but was a student of Canadian Bible College/Canadian Nazarene College/Canadian Theological Seminary - how do I get a transcript?

Ambrose University College holds the complete student records for all of the historical schools. You may order your transcripts in the usual way, using this form. All official transcripts include a summary of our history and name changes to make it easier for the people who will receive your transcript to understand our institutional story. Your transcripts will also show the school name as it was when you attended.
