Our Program
Gain a firm understanding of the historical development of classical music, and attain knowledge of the melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic resources of Western music. Hone instrument specific skills and become a musically interactive member of society. Particular focus is given to preparing students for secondary education, church music, and piano pedagogy. Opportunities exist to participate in various ensembles (jazz, orchestra, vocal), national or international touring choirs, and musical productions.

Admissions Requirements
Five Grade 12 level courses including English, Math (pure or applied) or a second language with a minimum overall average on the five courses of 60%. In addition to the above, all applicants must pass an entrance audition. Students who do not demonstrate Grade Two (Royal Conservatory of Music) music theory or its equivalent may be required to make up the deficiency in order to register for certain courses in the program.
