By special arrangement, Providence Theological Seminary offers all of the counseling courses on the Ambrose Seminary Calgary campus that are needed for their MA (in Counseling). Ambrose provides the biblical and theological courses that are a part of their program requirements. The Master of Arts in Specialized Ministries is for those who are training for professional ministry positions within church or para-church organizations (other than ordained, pastoral positions). Students major in Biblical Counselling. In some respects it is very similar to our MA in L&M degree with a focus in counseling.
