Our Program
Knowledge of the past is foundational to any liberal arts education. Learn to examine the past through cultural, political, economic, religious, and intellectual viewpoints by cultivating a well-rounded understanding of historical movements. Build a thorough grounding in the history of Europe and North America, supplemented by an introduction to world and thematic history and philosophy. Specific courses touch on the Middle East, early Christianity, European revolutions, the Holocaust, and depictions of history in Hollywood films.
