Christian Studies

Bachelor of Arts: Christian Studies

Liberal Arts

Our provincially accredited Bachelor of Arts programs prepare you for a diverse world of life and work. Learn how to think critically and logically and to communicate effectively; the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market or prepare you for further studies.

Our Program

Bachelor of Arts: Christian Studies enables students to become life-long agents of transformative change in the world. In the program, students not only study and experience the Christian faith, but also reflect upon the relevance of this faith for their own lives and the world in which they live.

All students take a core of foundational courses in three streams Bible, Christian Theology and History and Christian Spirituality. After 30 credits, students then focus on one of these streams, enabling further study of and engagement with particular aspects of the Christian faith. Students who choose the four year Major will have the opportunity to study their chosen stream in further detail, undertake a senior research project (in one's chosen stream), and critically reflect upon the relevance and meaning of their Christian studies learning.

Educational Travel

A unique component of the Christian Studies program is the opportunity to participate in a "Down Ancient Paths" travel study venture. Travel to the ancient world with your Faculty, providing a life-changing exposure to biblical landscapes and ancient Christian traditions.
