August 15, 2007 - The structural steel for the library, academic centre and gymnasium is arriving on the site. The fact that the steel was delivered on schedule is important to the timeline of the project. Elan Construction Ltd. saw the shortage of steel as a potential delay to construction progress. Crews have already erected some of the vertical steel for the library. Foundation walls for the academic centre continue to be formed and poured. The forming crews will move to the gymnasium once the foundation for the academic centre is complete. The foundation and basement walls for the residence are now complete and have been backfilled.
