Furniture Starts Moving Into Residence

news

June 16, 2008 - Rain poured down on the student movers at the new Ambrose University College campus as they began moving the armoires into the residence, Monday, June 9.

With the weather against them they only managed to unload half the furniture, and will continue to unload the last of the furniture this week.

The completion of the residence is coming along very nicely, though due to the wet weather there have been a few set backs that have affected the moving-in process. The armoires are, at this point, the only furniture that will be placed in the residence.

"We will be waiting until the residence is completed before moving in anymore furniture." Chris Boelcke, Move Director said.

Each room will be equipped with two armoires giving the double occupancy rooms a large amount of storage. In each room there will also be two beds, two desks with chairs, window coverings, a garbage can and a full mirror.

The forecast of drier weather is good news for the moving crew as they set up the residence rooms for their fellow students.
