May 28, 2008 - Tremper Longman , a renowned professor at Westmont College Santa Barbara California. taught a spring module at Ambrose University College.
Longman earned a B.A. in Religion at Ohio Wesleyan University, an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Ancient Near Eastern studies from Yale University.
He has taught modular courses around the world. In the past three years he has taught courses in Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Orlando, Vancouver, Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, and other locations.
Ambrose had the privilege of having Longman teach a module on the book of Exodus this spring. The class was a success and well talked about among students. Longman also enjoyed his time at Ambrose, speaking highly of both faculty and students.
“I had a wonderful time teaching a course on Exodus at Ambrose.” He said, “the students were mature, intellectually curious, ministry driven, and friendly. I also always enjoy interacting with the excellent permanent faculty at Ambrose. The students should be very appreciative of having such a distinguished group of teachers.”
