“A Remarkable Period in Our Lives”
Some twelve years ago Bev and I were amazed that God wanted us to return to Canada to serve with CBC/CTS in an effort to help the institution increase its service to the church. It has been a remarkable period in our lives beginning the day we set foot on campus - one filled with challenge and opportunity.

We made many friends from coast to coast and were privileged to watch God do one impossible thing after another. I am deeply indebted to Ambrose and to our supporting constituencies, both the Christian & Missionary Alliance and The Church of the Nazarene, for the privilege of serving over this extended period on time.
I believe the mandate given to me is now largely complete and it is time for Ambrose to refresh its strategic plan and move forward under new leadership. As this realization became clear to me over the last year, an opportunity has emerged for Bev and me to return to international service.
Of course we regret the thought of stepping away from a work we love immensely. I want to state unequivocally that we remain as committed as ever to the Ambrose vision, to our Board, to our staff and faculty, to my friend and colleague Riley Coulter, and to our supporting constituency. In fact, this enduring commitment makes the pending departure painful.
There are still a number of key projects to complete. With these in mind, the Board asked me to complete my contract term (2009) which I do gladly.
