Historic National Church Offering

May 4 was a truly historic day in the annals of Ambrose University College. On that day, hundreds of Alliance and Nazarene churches across Canada chose to link arms with Ambrose and take an unprecedented national offering in support of the Ambrose new campus construction project. A series of Ambrose promotional pieces were distributed to these church congregations throughout April and on May 4 thousands of individuals from British Columbia to the Maritimes watched a DVD presentation on the history and development of Ambrose and were then challenged to invest in the education of future generations of Christian leaders by supporting the new Ambrose campus project. Some congregations received offerings at an earlier date and others will take up their Ambrose offering later in the year. The final results of this offering will not be known for some weeks and will be announced at Nazarene District Assemblies in June and at the national General Assembly of Alliance churches during the first week of July in Ottawa.
