November 6, 2007 - On Friday November 2 the women's volleyball Lions dropped a 3-sets-to-1 decision to the St. Mary's Lightning.

Although the result was disappointing, Coach Marla Hirshmiller was particularly impressed with the play of rookie setter Kelly Sagan who played well. "Perseverance, dedication and good communication were keys to her success this weekend."

It was a quiet weekend in Lions athletics with only the women's volleyball team in action.
