February 26, 2008 - Enrolment Management at Ambrose reports that as of February 15 applications for Fall 2008 are 71% ahead of last year. This encouraging trend sees increases of 129.6 % in the Faculty of Arts and Science, 17.4% in the undergraduate ministry and 41.7% in the seminary divisions of the Faculty of Theology. Overall 106 prospective students have applied to Ambrose compared to 62 last year.

Director of Enrolment Management, Helen Thiessen points to consistent marketing of Ambrose programs over the past three years as a key to application growth. "The new campus, new Ambrose identity are important factors", says Thiessen. "You can sense excitement at our enrolment events as prospective students and parents hear about Ambrose from current students and faculty."

A major awareness campaign is underway both in Calgary and in Alliance and Nazarene churches across Canada. In Calgary the campaign called "My Christian University College" is utilizing Calgary Transit buses and train stations as well as local radio and print media. The churches are showing an enrolment DVD that is accompanied by a package of information for youth groups.
