Ambrose is partnering with twelve other organizations to put on the Leading Women 2008 conference, to be held in Toronto February 28 - March 1.

Ambrose University College became a partner with the Leading Women during the preparation process for the Leading Women 2006 conference, which was held in March of that year in Calgary. Wendy Thomas & Carol Petkau attended the vision-casting planning retreat and were impressed with the partners' commitment to identifying, celebrating, equipping and networking Canadian Christian women who are leadership positions across this country.

For Leading Women 2008, Carol and Linda Feltmate (representing the Nazarene denomination) are co-chairing the Program Team and are excited about what is coming together. This conference's theme is Dare: Igniting a Culture of Courage. The focus is not on daring because it's trendy or because we're such edgy people, but daring for the sake of kingdom, because often God calls us to follow Him and lead in circumstances that can be risky and complex.
