Ambrose Coffee Listening Posts and Leadership Development
BRIAN THOM REPORTS ON AMBROSE COFFEE LISTENING POSTS

The Ambrose Coffee Listening Posts (ACLP) are now history. It was so good seeing many of you at one of the 37 ACLP across the country, which took place from Vancouver Island to the Maritimes. Thank you for your openness and honesty as you shared not only the items that you appreciated about Ambrose, but also your concerns. Riley Coulter and I have taken particular note of your comments and will be passing these along to those concerned and in particular to the President's Cabinet. Brian will be sharing the report at the President's Cabinet on February 9th.
One of the items of special interest at the ACLP was the discussion around the topic of: How do we develop leaders for vocational ministry? And whose responsibility is this? Where do the National Ministries (Global Ministries), Districts, Ambrose or the Local Church fit into this perspective, and who does what?
A group from the Leadership Café which met a year ago has now reviewed, analyzed and is ready to report to the respective denominations on what you, as leaders from across Canada, have said. The first of these gatherings will take place at Ambrose early in February and the other is still to be arranged. I'm sure you will be hearing from your district or denominational leaders on this subject in the near future.
