WILLIAM P. YOUNG TO GIVE PUBLIC LECTURE AT AMBROSE ON SEPTEMBER 15

news

September 3, 2008 -  Ambrose alumnus and author of The Shack William P. Young will give a public lecture on the Ambrose campus Monday, September 15, 2008 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.  Admission is free.

Mr. Young recently rose to public attention due to his novel The Shack which made the New York Times Bestsellers List.

The novel and its author strike a chord with readers who, like the protagonist Mack, have some things to discuss with God.  The novel's success is remarkable since Young self-published the book and spent only a few hundred dollars on its promotion.

The lecture will be followed by a conversation between Mr. Young and a panel of Ambrose theologians Bill McAlpine, Charles Nienkirchen and Bernie Van De Walle.

The author will be available to meet the public following the lecture.
