A New Full Service Campus

A New Full Service Campus

The new Ambrose University College campus sits on a ridge that offers unobstructed views west to the Rocky Mountains.

The heart of the campus will be the Academic Centre, with its central gathering place in the shape of the Christian symbol of the fish. The building features a biology lab, computer lab, classrooms that seat from 12 to 120 people, faculty and administrative offices, plus places for group and silent study. A modern library will offer students online access to global resources as well as more traditional reference sources.

Students will find the Registrar, Counselling, Pastoral Care and Learning Services here. They’ll also find practical nourishment for their bodies in a spacious cafeteria. The Athletic/Performing Arts Centre will be a vibrant, active place, with full size gym plus stage and sound system for performances and chapel. Bleacher seating will accommodate up to 600 people for athletic events, and up to 1,000 people for other events. Banquet facilities, lockers rooms and a weight room round out the building. Ambrose University College’s Music Department will enjoy a dedicated choir room, practice rooms and a music lab space.

The Residence, on-campus student housing, is designed to foster a sense a community and is large enough to accommodate 134 students in groups of 16 to 24. Preference will be given to first and second year students who come to study at Ambrose University College from outside the city.
