Global Leadership in Action Launched for Summer 2010

Global Leadership in Action  - A new pilot summer project with the vision of building the next generation of globally-minded leaders was launched by the Jaffray Centre for Global Initiatives in July 2009.  The program experienced great success and has generated great interest to rerun the program for the summer of 2010!

Global Leadership In Action (GLA) is a leadership program designed to help youth develop into locally and globally aware leaders in the church and their community. Through this experiential learning opportunity, students aged 15-18 who have a desire to grow and develop leadership skills to impact local and global society will have 1) an opportunity to show love for humankind motivated out of God's love for the world and 2) a tangible opportunity to empower others to do the same.

Applications are now avaliable for Global Leadership 2009-2010. Plans have already begun to enhance and expand this unique leadership program and to build up more globally minded future leaders.
