July 26, 2007 – On July 16th Calgary City Council approved the land use boundary change for the 2.7 acre commercial site. July 26, 2007 - Kueth Diew (BA Behavioural Science ’06) returned to Sudan after graduation with a dream of educating refugee children. Since no school existed in the region around his southern rural village of Jickow, Kueth began to teach all the children but was forced to turn students away once the numbers exceeded 300.
