Current Research Projects
Son of Man in the Gospel of Mark; purity in Mark's Gospel; the historical relationship between the Similitudes of Enoch and the Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice.
Biography
- Currently, I am researching the function of the Son of Man in the Gospel of Mark as a priestly figure. This research forms the substance of my PhD thesis which I will submit by May 2007 for examination
- I am an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and enjoy teaching and preaching in the Church on a regular basis
- I was born in New Glasgow, NS but have been living "out west" now for the past 12 years. I am happily married to Jennifer Straiton from Victoria, BC and we have two children Nathan and Maggie.
- My hobbies include home renovations, skiing the Rockies and playing hockey.
