From 1990-2001 Tim served as the Pastor of Student Ministries at Unionville Alliance Church in the Eastern Central District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. While serving in Unionville Tim was adjunct faculty at Tyndale University College and Canadian Bible College teaching in the Youth Ministry departments.

He has completed mission trips to St. Vincent, Grenada, Russia, Indonesia, and Mexico City.

Tim has been married to Nancy, his wife of 28 years. They enjoy their three adult children, Joel, Matthew, and Katie. One of his major downfalls, according to some of his peers is that he is an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan with a rapidly developing loyalty to the Calgary Flames.
