The increasing integration of professional studies and field education is designed to implement the strategic direction that our ministry programs more closely integrate with actual church ministries.

The driving philosophy behind our renewed professional studies and field education courses and internship program is to develop reflective practitioners. That is, we want to graduate students who are capable of critically analyzing their ministry philosophy and practice, address deficiencies or challenges, and implement changes where needed with professionalism and theological acumen.
