Practicum is for BHS students in their third year. If you are currently a second year student and will have completed BHS 240 Research Methods and BHS 310 Quantitative Methods by spring of this year, you are eligible to take BHS 320 Practicum in the fall. If this is you, it is time to start searching for a September practicum placement! Here are the deadlines that you need to know about:

• February 9: Final deadline for portfolios. All sections must be completed and handed in to Kim McLachlan.
• February: Schedule an appointment with Kim to talk about the agencies you are looking at for practicum placements. Be sure to do this BEFORE you go for any interviews, as Kim will give you important information to take to these interviews.
• April 2: Hand in the Interview Record form to Kim, showing that you have completed 3 interviews at 3 agencies.
• April 16: The practicum proposal package is due. Details of what needs to be included can be found on the "Practicum Proposal Form."
