Education Curriculum

Program Components

Length of program: 2 years
Curriculum: 60 credits

Our program is cohort in nature, and therefore you will work together both as students learning together as well as with your faculty as you enter the profession role of a teacher. Classes are rarely more than 30 students in size allowing both students and faculty to engage with the material and develop your skills on an individual basis.

Our program combines Field Education and Internship, Curriculum Design and Program Development, Learning Theory and Application, and Society and Culture: Methodologies and Practices.

 

  1. Field Experience and Internship (FE): 12 credits
  2. Curriculum Design and Program Development (CDPD): 18 credits
  3. Learning Theory and Application (LTA): 18 credits
  4. Society and Culture: Methodologies and Practices (SCMP): 12 credits
