Any potential employers wishing to post a job open to Ambrose students whether it is a part–time or full-time position may submit their request electronically to: careerdevelopmentcentre@ambrose.edu. All postings will be posted on the job board for the school year.

Career Focus
Ambrose welcomes prospective employers to partner with us to hire students through paid internships, career related summer positions or new graduates in internship or trainee positions.There are a number of government funded opportunities where prospective employers can obtain funding to assist in the salary costs. Businesses, organizations (non-profit, professional, employer and or labour associations) public health and educational institutions, band/tribal councils, Aboriginal organizations and municipal governments are eligible to apply.
Internship Program with innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). This program provides financial assistance to innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs (<500 Employees) in Canada to hire post-secondary science, engineering, technology, business and liberal arts graduates. Graduates work on innovative projects within the SME and may participate in research, development and commercialization of technologies. Click here to learn more.
International Academic Mobility Initiative (IAM). This program supports Canadian post secondary institutions in offering international learning opportunities to their students. This goal is achieved through IAM's support for student mobility and academic co-operation projects between Canadian post-secondary institutions and institutions in foreign partnering countries. There are two program in this initiative:
- 1. The Canada-European Community Program for Co-operation in Higher Education and Training
This program encourages joint academic projects among higher education institutions, training establishments and other organizations on both sides of the Atlantic. - 2. Program for North American Mobility in Higher Education
This program encourages co-operation in higher education and training among the three North American Free Trade Agreement countries with a focus on student mobility. Since its inception, universities and colleges from all regions of Canada have participated in a wide range of trilateral projects with institutions in the United States and Mexico. The trilateral partnership activities include the innovative use of new learning technologies to maximize student participation.
