Employment
Students Looking for Work?
Many of our students work part–time. If you are new to Calgary and are looking for part-time employment please visit the Career Development Centre on the 7th floor or browse through our website Resources and Links which has some great links to help you in your career planning and job search.
The City of Calgary's Youth Employment Centre is another resource for looking for part–time and full–time work. It is a government funded service for student between the ages of 15 and 24 and is open to cater to summer students. It is located on the 2nd floor of 315–10th Avenue SE. Regular drop in hours are from 9:30—3:30 Monday through Friday, beginning in May through to August each year.
Employment for International Students
International Students should contact the International Student Coordinator, for Employment regulations for international students studying in Canada. Non–Canadian students should check with the immigration authorities before accepting any forms of employment. US and foreign students are not usually eligible for employment off-campus.
The Career Development Centre maintains a job board for part and full-time jobs. Visit it frequently!
