The Lions women's futsal team will be seeking redemption this year.  The 2008-09 season was bitter sweet for this club.  They went undefeated through the regular season and then lost their only game of the year in the ACAL championships.  This team looks to be strong once again, with the return of star forward  and 2008-09 Ambrose Lions Female Athlete of the Year Casey Boda, defenders Kelly Sagan, Kara Boda, and captain Karlie Silcock; along with 2nd year forward Alison Parry.  The team looks to add a couple of new recruits, but make no mistake this will be a veteran laden team with one thing in mind: Win.  Coach Barnett returns with Coach Ulriksen to provide leadership to this team and they expect big things from this squad.

Paul returns to the Lions coaching staff for his 2nd year behind the bench with the women's futsal team.  Paul, a former member of the men's futsal team here at Ambrose, will provide solid leadership and direction to the women this year.  He will be assisted by Jeff Ulriksen who will bring a much needed support and depth to the coaching staff.
