The Ambrose Lions men's volleyball team looks to bounce back after a tough loss in the ACAL finals last year.  The team has high hopes coming into this season and is excited about the return of 2nd year power hitters Dan Prasad and Mike Dandenault, 3rd year middle, Scott Willms and 3rd year setter, Kyle Trigg.  The Lions are also excited to add some veteran leadership in Dan Reid as well as look for a boost of energy from young recruits David Olson and Ryan Kerr.  This team looks to be strong again and it's main focus will be to be back in the big dance when the Lions host ACAL championships November 20-21.  The difference this year, is that they expect to be on the winning side and atone for last year's second place finish.

Head Coach

Ryan Young

Ryan is entering his 3rd year as head coach with the Ambrose Lions Volleyball team.  Ryan brings some excellent experience to the table with his extensive volleyball history.  He spent time playing with the Malaspina Mariners of the BCCAA before moving on to the University of British Columbia where he played with the Thunderbirds.  He believes in defense and fundamentals and all of coach Young's teams are good in those departments.
