Hockey Roster
The Ambrose Lions Hockey team enters it's second year in the CAHL. It was an exciting 2008-09 campaign and the team finished strong, losing a heartbreaker in the semi-final game. The team had it's ups and downs, but overall it was a successful season. The team hopes to build on their success and are excited about the return of captain Jon Hollett, netminder Ben Wideman and 2nd year scoring ace TJ Smith. Scott Willms and Kyle Trigg will anchor the defence core and forwards Ben Schurman and Kevin Reierson will add some secondary scoring. The team will add a couple of young studs in Benjamin Hollett and Jeff Smith. This is a solid team that coach Willison is confident will make significant strides forward as they seek to return to its winning ways of a few years ago.

Head Coach
Ryan Willison
Ryan is a graduate of Briercrest Bible College with a BA in Pastoral Ministry. He played fours years of hockey with the Briercrest Clippers who compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC). After his playing days were over, Ryan spent a year as an assistant coach with the Clippers before taking on the head coaching position with Ambrose. He is currently in his fifth year as head coach of the men's hockey team.
