Ambrose University College has it's own athletic facility complete with gymnasium, fitness centre, atheltic therapy room and outdoor fields.

Gymnasium

Home of the Ambrose Lions Basketball, Futsal and Volleyball teams.

The Lions Den, as it is affectionately known, houses the varisty teams and intramural events for the Ambrose University College Athletic Department.  It has a seating capacity of 600 for athletic events and has some of the best, and loudest fans in the league.

Fitness Centre

The fitness centre is a place for athletes and non athletes to lift weights, do some carido and improve their overall fitness level.  This facility has state of the art equipment and has a fantastic northwest view of the Rocky Mountains.  The fitness centre is open from 7am-10pm Monday - Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturdays.

Athletic Therapy Room 

This is a great facility where the Ambrose Lions athletes go to lick their wounds after games and practices.  It has a hydrobath for those needing a full body submersion, training tables where taping and theraputic massage can take place as well as an ice machine for joint and muscle pain.

Facility and Equipment Policies

1. Uniforms: All varsity athletes who travel or suit up for a home contest will be issued a team uniform which is to be returned to the team manager after the contest. Uniforms are Lions Athletics property and it is the responsibility of each athlete to prevent theft or damage to any strip issued to them. Cleaning of the whole uniform is the responsibility of the team manager. Athletes are asked NOT to assume laundering care of their own uniforms.

1. Foot Apparel: Only non-marking shoes may be worn. Cleats are not to be worn inside the gym facility.
2. Food and Beverages: No food or beverages are permitted on the gymnasium floor at any time.
