It is time to celebrate! Our campus is built and our 2008-09 school year is off to an excellent start.

Thank you for your financial generosity and faithful support during our recent period of construction and renewal. The visible, tangible rewards of this investment are before us every day as we teach, counsel, work, play, pray, and otherwise interact with each other. Your investment has helped to increase our service to the church and opened up new opportunities for us to be engaged redemptively with our culture.

The year before us is an exiting one, not just because we live and work in a new facility, but because we have such an outstanding group of students on campus. Our students' enthusiasm for life and learning is something you sense in the chapels, in the classroom discussions, and in the hallway conversations. Part of this enthusiasm is surely a reflection of the enthusiasm students see in the faculty. We have a full roster of outstanding teachers this year, most of who have been with us for throughout our long years of transition.

Last summer we concluded preliminary work on many of our Ambrose policies. This is noteworthy because it enabled us as a community to make a clear, emphatic statement of our commitment to the historic Biblical principles upon which we were founded and to reiterate the centrality of our Lord Jesus Christ in our institution. Our faculty spent their annual retreat thinking together about the importance of Ambrose being a Christian university college, not simply being a university college that is run or sponsored by Christians.

Ultimately this is what makes the year exciting for me. I know that across the campus our community is dedicated to educating men and women who will serve in ways that honour Christ and build His church. It is also why we ask that you continue to support us with your prayers and financial gifts.
