The Logo

The Ambrose logo is composed of four elements: the shield, the symbol, the colour, and the wordmark.

The Shield

The shield roots Ambrose in academic tradition, and represents the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:16).

The Symbol

The symbol on the shield represents the spiritual, physical, and relational attributes of Ambrose University College. The letter A is for Ambrose. The shape reflects prayer flowing up to God. It points to a commitment to the path of knowledge. It speaks of the mountain peaks visible from the campus, reminders of creation. It brings to mind the pages of an open book, learning and the interaction between professor and student. It roots learning in divine inspiration from above.

The Colour

Gold is the colour of harvest and keeps before us the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:19). White is the colour of clarity of mind, holiness of life and hope for the nations.

The Wordmark

The wordmark is set in a classic, Roman serif font.
